I am married to a Brazilian and actually live in Brazil. With all the Portuguese speakers around me, I still did not understand or feel like I was learning the language until I took The Brazilian Ways course. With Camila and the other Brazilian instructors, you get a true sense of the language.

The five-month course blends structured learning with natural conversation really well. We spend the right amount of time on grammar before breakout rooms, where we apply it in real-life scenarios. The biggest thing for me was the freedom and confidence to speak without getting stuck on tiny details.

Attending The Movie Club was a wonderful experience. You watch great movies and learn at the same time. The vocabulary breakdowns were extremely helpful, and I also gained cultural insights you do not get from a textbook.
