The same story can be explored differently depending on your Portuguese. Support is there to help you enter the text—not to remove the challenge or richness of reading in another language.
Original Portuguese
Read the author's language as it was written. Best for learners who want to explore style, nuance, irony, vocabulary and the historical or cultural character of the text.
Supported Portuguese
Use an adapted or annotated version when older language, complex sentences or unfamiliar vocabulary make the original difficult to follow independently.
English Support
Compare meanings, confirm the plot and keep moving through the story. English is a bridge into Portuguese—not the final destination.

Frequently asked questions
Before you join the priority list
Do I need to be an advanced Portuguese reader?
No. Different reading paths can make the same story accessible with different levels of support. Complete beginners may rely more on English and supported Portuguese, while experienced learners can work directly with the original. The final group organization and materials will consider the levels represented on the priority list.
Will all stories be old Brazilian classics?
Not necessarily. Seasons may combine public-domain classics, authorized texts and original stories by Camila Meireles. The stories do not need to be connected to one another; each one creates an independent language and cultural journey.
Will I receive the complete texts?
The course will provide the reading materials that it has the legal right to distribute. Depending on the story, this may include an original public-domain text, an authorized text, a supported adaptation and English assistance created for the course.
What happens during the live sessions?
Live time is used for conversation, interpretation, retelling, cultural comparison, collaborative activities and real-time feedback. Explanations, vocabulary and author context belong in the platform so that the live experience can depend on interaction.
Will the season last four weeks or eight weeks?
The first new season is planned around four stories and four live experiences. The priority list will help determine whether a weekly or biweekly rhythm is more realistic for the community.
Does joining the priority list reserve a seat?
No. Joining is free and does not require payment or enrollment. It gives you early information and access when the stories, dates, schedule and offer are confirmed.
