A 13-week online Brazilian Portuguese mentorship with one private Zoom session with Camila every week, a personalized study plan, your own private learning platform, and a second weekly guided study and conversation session.

Every Zoom lesson, correction, activity, cultural recommendation, and practice session has a purpose inside that roadmap—so you always know what to study, what to practice, and why it matters.

Camila Meireles
Camila Meireles is the co-founder and lead educator of The Brazilian Ways, an experienced Brazilian Portuguese teacher, and the author of multiple books created especially for international learners.
For more than 13 years, she has helped students from different countries communicate with greater confidence, understand Brazilian culture more deeply, and build a relationship with Portuguese that goes far beyond memorizing grammar rules.
Camila leads the academic direction of The Brazilian Ways. She develops courses, lesson plans, learning activities, and personalized materials based on real communication, cultural context, and the individual goals of each student.
After years of teaching learners through international tutoring platforms, Camila closed her public calendar there. No outside tutoring marketplace or learning platform now offers access to her private teaching. The Brazilian Ways is the only place to apply.
To protect the depth and quality of the work, Camila supports no more than four active mentees at a time. When all four places are filled, new applicants join the priority waiting list.

Are both weekly sessions private sessions with Camila?
Each week includes one 50-minute private Zoom session with Camila and one 50-minute live guided study and conversation session with a trained TBW facilitator. The second session helps you apply your personal plan, complete assigned activities, practice conversation, and maintain consistent progress.
What Portuguese level is required?
There is no single required level. The mentorship is personalized and may support learners at different stages. Your application and initial assessment help Camila determine whether the program is appropriate for your current goals and needs.
How are lesson times selected?
All live sessions take place online through Zoom. Times are arranged individually according to mutual availability. Camila works with students in different time zones, but specific times are confirmed only after acceptance and enrollment.
Can I reschedule a session?
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to availability. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are considered used, except in genuine emergencies.
Will I receive recordings and materials?
Yes. You receive a private online mentorship platform created for you. Your learning roadmap, Zoom recordings, personalized materials, activities, corrections, resources, and progress reports remain organized there throughout the program.
Does WhatsApp include unlimited teaching support?
No. The private WhatsApp concierge is designed for scheduling, important updates, brief check-ins, and sharing materials connected to your mentorship. Detailed teaching, corrections, and feedback take place inside your scheduled sessions and learning activities.
Can I continue after the 13 weeks?
Yes, subject to fit and availability. Current mentees who are progressing well receive priority to renew before a place is offered to the waiting list.
