Understanding Portuguese is one thing.
Understanding how Brazilians actually speak is another.

Many students reach a good level in Portuguese and still feel confused when they hear Brazilians talking naturally. Conversations suddenly include expressions that don’t appear in textbooks, phrases that don’t translate literally, and meanings that depend on culture, tone, and context.

These expressions are called idioms, and they are everywhere in Brazilian Portuguese.

In this interactive workshop, we will explore some of the expressions Brazilians use most often in everyday conversations. These are the phrases you hear between friends, in jokes, in music, in casual conversations, and even in moments of frustration or humor.

Interestingly, many people can live in Brazil for years and still struggle to understand these expressions.

This workshop is designed to change that.
